Bobby the Bauble was in pride of place and inundated with bids for him at the Creations Christmas Fayre on Wednesday. The cookery teamon Tuesday had been busy making mince and coconut tarts for the refreshments, and they made an excellent addition to the teas and coffees.

Today at the Drop in Centre 34 years of Tuesday evenings keep fit came to an end.
It is with profound regret that keep fit class leader, Sylvia Smith, handed back her keys to the Drop in Centre. She said, “I am going to miss both the ladies and the building, but Covid and injury has made the decision for us all. We are all ladies of an age, and the dark nights of winter and our bodies are telling us it’s time to stop and enjoy our retirements. Every Tuesday evening between 7pm and 9pm we have had tremendous fun; and every single penny that was paid in as keep fit classes subscriptions was all handed back to the Drop in Centre.”
The committee of the Drop in Centre would like to extend their sincere thanks for the funds raised over the 34 years, many thanks Sylvia and the ladies.
